Good news for the thousands of Lake Travis area kiddos and families who play sports at Field of Dreams. Lake Travis Youth Association announced future improvements including things like live feed video in the fields, new LED lighting, and more bathroom trailers – it has only taken four years.

The City of Lakeway is accepting entries for its 43rd annual July 4th Parade. This year’s theme of “Salute to Volunteers” honors those who have put service before self to contribute to our country and our city. The parade will start at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 4 on Lakeway Drive from the Live Oak Clubhouse and end at Cross Creek. Entry deadline is June 27.
When you almost get run over by gazelles … again …
We spotted the Blackbuck antelope duo once again in Lakeway, but this time we were ready. We have video footage of them walking around before they disappear into the woods. What a relief for those of us who thought we were hallucinating.
