Did you know Hill Country Galleria has been our neighbor for ten years?
The mall opened on Wednesday, October 24, 2007, with 35 retailers. Today the 1.3 million-square-foot entertainment, shopping and dining destination is a staple in the Lake Travis community with nearly 100 retailers. And they’re celebrating their 10th anniversary this weekend.
We love HCG for hosting annual events like SpringFest, the Tree Lighting, and Santa’s Arrival. We love the monthly wine walks and all of the live music. Whether you’re shopping cool toys at Learning Express, savoring a delicious bite at ALLSTAR Burger or sweating our butts off at RIDE Indoor Cycling, Lake Travis is lucky to have HCG in our backyard.
In honor of this milestone, we’re taking a look at what’s buzzing at Hill Country Galleria including new pop-up shops and party plans. If you’re a longtime LT-er, test your HCG knowledge with a trivia question at the end of this article.
Spirit Halloween
If you’re a fan of Halloween, we have some exciting news to share with you. There’s a Spirit Halloween pop-up shop right here in Lake Travis! Now you don’t have to drive all over Austin in search of costume necessities and creeptastic gear.
The Spirit pop-up shop is open at Hill Country Galleria through early November in the space that was formerly occupied by Charming Charlie. This awesomely convenient Spirit store means you have no excuse for being ill-prepared for Halloween, so get to it!
The 11,000 square foot store is open Monday-Saturday from 10am-9pm and Sunday from noon-6pm.
There is one thing to keep in mind when shopping at Spirit, so pay attention. After October 20, all sales are final. You can make returns prior to that date as long as items are unworn, in original packaging, etc. But after the 20th, it’s yours forever.
Springfree Trampoline
Another pop-up shop will be opening at HCG next week – Springfree Trampoline.
This store will be located near Justice and Yogurt Planet (space C1-114). And guess what!? You can test jump at this new showroom. Springfree will be open through the holiday season.

10th Anniversary Celebration
Last but not least, Hill Country Galleria is celebrating their 10th anniversary on Saturday with a day-long sidewalk sale followed by their signature event, Saturday Night Concert Series featuring folk rocker Jeff Plankenhorn. The music begins at 7:00pm in the Hill Country Galleria’s Central Plaza.
Bring your family, friends, and a blanket to lounge on the grassy lawn during the show. Arrive early to shop and dine at Hill Country Galleria retailers and even get your meal delivered straight to your seat in the Central Plaza! SWAG bags filled with fun items and discounts will be available throughout the event.
Sun Radio 100.1FM will be on-site to emcee the event and the Mayor of Bee Cave, Caroline Murphy, will also be in attendance and will speak briefly during the intermission.
