Goblin Glow – Lakeway City Park
Saturday, October 18
7-9 p.m.
One of the most popular Halloween events in Austin is happening right here in Lake Travis at Lakeway City Park, the Great Goblin Glow! This unique, fun-filled, family-friendly event features glowing hot air balloons that illuminate the night sky. In addition to the parade of great costumes, kiddos enjoy plenty of candy, glitter tattoos, jugglers, balloon artists, tunes from DJ StratKat, rides and more. There’s even a live bat exhibit and a “spooky” Dead End Cemetery.
Halloween Trick or Treat Event – Hill Country Galleria
Saturday, October 25
2pm-9pm
The Hill Country Galleria is hosting its annual Trick or Treat event where kiddos can dress up and enjoy all sorts of fun activities like face painting, free bounce houses, bungee jump, and of course, more candy! The festivities get rolling at 2pm in the outdoor amphitheater with musical guest The Sassy Spurs. Trick or treating hours are from 4pm-6pm. The fun continues into the evening with a live music performance by The Brewbirds with Warren Hood at 7pm!
Fright Fest – Lakeway Regional Medical Center
October 24-26
This year, Lakeway Regional Medical Center has expanded its Halloween celebration to include three fun-filled nights of Halloween excitement. Don’t miss Fright Fest, the spookiest event in all of Lake Travis! This is definitely where you want to bring your bigger kiddos who enjoy a good scare. The haunted house is awesome! You can still bring little kiddos who can enjoy the costumes, the costume contest, the games and activities – they just might skip the haunted house. 😉 But there’s plenty of fun to be had for all ages. Food, pumpkin carving, a scavenger hunt, a fun run on Saturday and more.
Halloween Events at Lake Travis Community Library
October 23-25, 28 & 30
The Lake Travis Community Library is hosting a variety of Halloween-themed events for all ages. From stories to crafts and movies, check out the fun activities for the LT community to enjoy:
- Halloween Story Time – Thursday, October 23rd at 4pm – Celebrate Halloween with storyteller Bernadette Nason
- Teen Halloween Movie – Friday, October 24th at 4pm – Teens are invited to watch the Halloween classic Gremlins
- Halloween Crafts – Saturday, October 25th from 1:30pm to 3pm – Get creative with hands-on spooky crafts
- Family Flicks – Tuesday, October 28th at 4pm – What’s New Scooby-Doo: Halloween Special and Toy Story of Terror
- Pumpkin Parade – Thursday, October 30th at 10:30am – Get dressed up in your best Halloween costume for the annual Pumpkin Parade
