In Lake Travis, it’s not unusual to meet a resident with a special story to share. I had the pleasure of getting to know Natalie Buchanan at Pure Barre Lakeway. One day after class we started chatting about our careers and she told me about her journey into pediatric medicine.

It’s a story worth sharing.

The road to becoming a CPNP (Certified Pediatric Nurse Provider) is not for the faint of heart. It’s a long journey and since it tends to include heartbreaking circumstances for infants and families, it’s an emotional one too.

Is it just us, or does 2017 seem to be flying by at a rapid pace? Next week, spring break is upon us!

Thanks to all of this lovely rain, Lake Travis remains 100% full, so all of your favorite lake activities can be enjoyed at your leisure.

Plus, the days are about to get longer — next weekend we move to Daylight Saving Time — so get ready to “spring forward” at 2am on Sunday, March 12th.
