The shops located in Gateway to Falconhead keep getting better. A few months ago, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Bee Cave opened next to Bon Japanese Cuisine. One step inside this adorable pet shop will make you swoon even if you’re a cat person.

When I first drove by the shop and noticed the sign, I misread it as “Woof Gang Barkery.” And although that’s not the correct name, it still fits, because Woof Gang is a bakery for dogs – a barkery. Get it?

Tucking It Out: Pure Barre Lakeway Gets A Makeover

Almost two years ago to the day, Pure Barre Lakeway announced new ownership and a makeover of sorts. Well, PB Lakeway is still going strong because the studio just finished another makeover and rolled out new classes too.

You could say going to Pure Barre Lakeway is especially “sweet” these days thanks to the shiny new studio, updated easy-to-use software system, and class schedule. Studio owner, Jennifer Sweet (pun intended!) is passionate about sharing her love of Pure Barre with the Lake Travis area community.

“It’s crazy to see the growth in Lakeway,” says Jennifer. “The difference in only two years is astonishing!”

Cheese Please: Pure Luck Farm and Dairy in Dripping Springs

If the words “artisan cheese” make your mouth water, you’ll be happy to know there’s an award-winning cheesemaker right here in the Lake Travis area who’s dedicated to the live local mantra.

Pure Luck Farm and Dairy is a fully operating farm located on five acres of certified organic land in Dripping Springs, Texas. They specialize in handmade artisan goat cheese and certified organic culinary herbs.

While the farm itself is closed to the public — because there’s lots of work to be done — they offer workshops and tours, so you can learn how to make cultured butter or cheese.

Plus, there’s some goat cuddling!
