Music Fox in Lakeway is a “full line music store,” specializing in musical instruments and accessories. They cater to musicians of all abilities, from childhood beginners to lifelong experts and everyone in between.

Inside the shop acoustic and electric guitars line the walls, with top brands and choices in a variety of price points. There’s no shortage of drums, amps, pro-audio and lighting equipment and all types of music accessories including tuners, picks, music stands and more.

Music Fox is family owned and strives to build long term relationships with its customers. They get to know their clients and provide honest advice about which products are best for their interests, abilities and budgets.

In fact, I had a recent personal experience that helps illustrate that fact.

Lake Travis Free Kids

Summer! It’s the end of the second week for most of us in the Lake Travis area.

Any parents ready for school to start again?

Just kidding.

Sort of.

Even with planned family vacations, VBS and summer camps, many parents (especially those of young kids) find themselves struggling to fill the long days of summer without breaking the bank. After all, summer is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes planning, endurance and a support system to come out on top.

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa: Take A Vacation Close To Home

Written by Emily O'Shaughnessy | June 13, 2014

The Hyatt Lost Pines Resort in Bastrop is a short drive from Austin, but truly a world away. It’s a great place to escape with the family because a weekend there feels like a vacation, without the hassle and expense of flying or road-tripping cross country. It’s about an hours drive from the Lake Travis area (give or take, depending on traffic).

The long, winding road off Highway 71 sets the tone for the weekend as you pass rolling hills, beautiful landscaping and mature pecan trees. The scenery is breathtaking, and nothing makes you feel like you’ve escaped the city than having to stop for horses to cross the road before you arrive. Hello, city slickers!

Once there, you’ll find a large resort that is top notch in service without being stuffy. There is something for all ages and interests.
