It’s going to be another fabulous weekend in the Lake Travis area.

Saturday is a big day with Rods and Ribs at Crosswater Yacht Club, a great line-up of local live music, Oktoberfest celebrations, and the Annual Dia de los Muertos Festival at Fiesta Gardens. Check out the full schedule of local, big city, and get out of town events. We also have a growing list of pumpkin patches and fall fun.

Happy weekend, Lake Travis!

There will be a lot of people jumping into Lake Travis for a swim this Saturday at the 2016 Lake Travis Relay. This event is listed as one of the top 50 open water events in the United States and one of the top 100 open water events in the world!

If you’re looking for a festival this weekend, you have a big city or get out of town option. Check out ACL Music Festival Weekend Two at Zilker Park or the 30th Annual Gruene Music & Wine Festival at the Gruene Historic District in New Braunfels.

Scroll down and take a look at the growing list of pumpkin patches and fall fun. This weekend is the start of Boo at the Zoo at the Austin Zoo and the 14th annual ACTS Pumpkin Patch opens on Saturday.

Happy Friday!

It’s the first weekend of fall and with it comes a whole bunch of stuff to do outside.

Fall is a celebration of all things pumpkin and you can dive right in this weekend by taking a Hill Country excursion to Fall Festival & Corn Maze at Barton Hill Farms or Sweetberry Farms in Marble Falls for the beginning of the Harvest of Fall Fun … be sure and stop for a slice of pie at the Blue Bonnet Cafe.

Get to the big city for your choice of several fall festivals including the The 36th Annual Fall Pecan Street Festival, 11th Annual Home Slice Carnival O’ Pizza, and the Texas Craft Brewers Festival.

Listen to live music around the lake all night. Get up for an early Sunday morning run at the 5th Annual Micromarathon for Inspiration. Or just sit back, relax, and welcome fall.

Happy Friday! Once again the weekend sneaked up on us, but we came prepared with a whole bunch a places for you to go, things to do and people to see!

The first day of fall will be here next week and it’s a great time to enjoy the outdoor activities and festivals that begin when it starts to cool off around here.

Besides all the live music and events in the Lake Travis area, you can enjoy free access to exhibits and activities during Austin Museum Day on Sunday. Or get out of town and down to Gruene for the Old Gruene Market Days on Saturday and Sunday.
