The first weekend of 2017 is upon us and it’s going to be a chilly start to the new year. But fortunately, our winter cold snaps are just that — snaps — and we’ll be back up in the 70s by early next week.

We kicked off the New Year with a write-up about the newest food trailer to arrive in the Lake Travis area.

On Thursday, Cathy Hale went down memory lane with the Lake Travis Cavs journey to their sixth UIL football championship. Celebrate the victory at the Parade of Champions this Sunday at the Hill Country Galleria.
