Most of us living the Lake Travis Lifestyle happily admit to pampering our pets. They’re members of the family after all — loyal partners on hikes, boats or even down the drive to grab the mail.

And as good parents, we know all the ins and outs of the area’s top offerings for our animal companions — ranging from the best in veterinary care to boarding and in-home pet sitting.

Of course, no pet’s life would be complete without great nutrition and a few fun toys, and a look at the Lake Travis area’s pet stores shows off some serious chow for your furry (scaly, feathered, slimy) friends.

We all know that there’s a time when pulling out the craft brews, higher priced wines, and guest whiskey is key. And there’s hardly any better occasion for the good stuff than the holidays.

The most fool-proof way to give the very best in spirits this year (and secure VIP status at that Christmas party), is to really know what it is you’re gifting in that fancy little wine bag with the tinsel on top.

Revival in Bee Cave: Cool Stuff for Your Home

Revival, located on Hwy 71 between RR 620 and Bee Cave Parkway, provides a “unique experiential shopping environment, with products and services focused on community and authentic living.”

If you’ve never been – maybe you’ve driven by it hundreds of times but never stopped – you might want to take the time to pop in next time. You’ll be glad you did. The storefront is inviting, but also deceiving because the entire place is actually much, much bigger than what you see from the highway.

I’d heard about Revival from designer friends that rave about it. One person described it as a “mini Round Top.” Turns out that was a pretty accurate description. Except that it’s here for us in the Lake Travis area to enjoy anytime we want!

A Downtown for Lakeway?

If you spend any time in the Lake Travis area, it’s highly likely that you spend some time driving up and down Ranch Road 620.

And for anyone that has been here for a while, you’ve probably seen some major changes along the only road that gets you from Bee Cave to the Four Points area and beyond.

The next major change will be in Lakeway on a piece of land just north of the Lakeway post office (map).
