Last week, I had my first sweet treat from Sweet, a strawberry cake-pop, and I instantly knew I must share this nom nom goodness with everyone in the Lake Travis area.
The cake-pop had the perfect cake to icing ratio (yes, that’s the technical term…) and it was moist and flavorful. I always get bummed when a cake-pop looks amazing, but the cake is too heavy or hard. This cake pop was delicious. My advice would be, if you have yet treated yourself to a dessert from Sweet, you should!
Sweet opened on April 1, 2014 in the Lakeway Town Centre near Flores Tex-Mex and Mangieri’s Pizza. They offer every kind of flavor you can imagine from vintage flavors like Italian cream cake, German chocolate and carrot cake to classic flavors like vanilla bean, almond and buttered pecan. They have a variety of yummy filling and icing options too.
If you are dreaming of a perfectly unique birthday cake, wedding cake or a hilarious groom’s cake, Sweet has got you covered. They can whip up a delectable custom cake in the shape of ruby slippers, trains, ninjas and anything else you can think up.
As a resident of Lake Travis, you know that custom cookies are always a hit at any event. Even the rowdiest group of 6-year-old baseball buddies will drop what they’re doing and behave like angels if you offer them huge baseball cookies. Sweet can transform a tasty snicker-doodle, chocolate chip or M&M cookie into bears, longhorns, storm troopers, iPads and more.
