Noble Sandwich Co. at the Oasis on Lake Travis

Written by Mandy Spivey | October 6, 2014

Noble Sandwich Co. at OTXBC

If you haven’t had the chance to make it to the far north end of 620 to try Noble Sandwich Co., now is your chance to get the tasty happenings of bacon, sandwiches and finger foods at the Oasis on Lake Travis.

And if you haven’t had the chance to try out Oasis Texas Brewing Company, then you really have some catching up to do. With a trio of mainstay beers and an ever-rotating menu of seasonal brews, the addition of Noble Sandwich Company makes this the perfect spot to grab a pint and a few bites, all atop scenic Lake Travis.

Thursday through Sunday when the brewery is open, swing by to try their snacks, sandwiches and hot and cold appetizers. We’re talking fried duck, rustic home fries and a delicious sounding masterpiece called the TBLT. It’s kind of like a BLT with turkey, but there’s something they do to all of their dishes that always leaves me astounded at their culinary creativity, so I’m sure it’s more complicated than your classic bacon sandwich.

At the moment there are four sandwiches on the menu, with a few of their classics from the main restaurant making an appearance including the Noble Pig. Ham, pulled pork and bacon make this a trifecta of meaty goodness — mustard, mayo and provolone cheese balance out the act. In short, I know I’m never going to leave hungry.

The new from OTXBC

The last time I went there a was an assortment of games at the ready, like billiards, giant Jenga and shuffleboard. You can sit high above Lake Travis and take in the finest of lake views with a brew in your hand and an order of food on the way. They say in life you only need three things: something to love, something to do and something to look forward to. If that isn’t the perfect Friday evening, I don’t know what is.

You can check the full menu on their website, but stop by to see what looks good if you can’t get a mental picture. I can’t help myself around horseradish aioli, so I let my stomach do the ordering.

If you can’t get enough of these amazing sandwiches paired up with OTXBC brews, make your reservation for the Five Course Beer Pairing Dinner at Oasis Texas Brewing Co. on October 16th.
