It’s time to bid farewell to 2014 and usher in 2015! Yep, New Year’s Eve is right around the corner and there’s still time to make reservations at your favorite Lake Travis spot. There are plenty of NYE celebrations and parties to choose from with something for everyone — live music, delicious food and wine pairings and a glass (or two) of bubbly.
If you want to say howdy to 2015 in cowboy boots and jeans, head over to Poodies Roadhouse for their annual NYE concert with blues artist WC Clark. Or if you feel like getting cozy with that special someone, check out the New Year’s Eve Package at Lakeway Resort.
Hudson’s on the Bend – New Year’s Eve tickets are on sale now if you’d like to ring in 2015 with a chef tasting and wine pairing delight. Featuring Porcini Mushroom Bisque, baked Clams Casino, venison chop with cherry sauce and more seasonal sensations, your taste buds will certainly enjoy this unique dining experience. You can also opt for the New Year’s Eve menu featuring dishes like smoked quail, smoked elk, salmon filet and crème brûlée.
Lakeway Resort – If you want to spend a romantic staycation in Lakeway, check out the New Year’s Eve Package including a room of your choosing and a three-course meal for two in Masterson’s Steakhouse. The menu features prime beef filet, pan seared duck breast and poached sea bass with lots of fresh vegetables, a decadent Black Forest chocolate mousse cake for dessert and, of course, a champagne toast.
The Oasis – If you’d like to kick up your heels, The Oasis is hosting a special New Year’s Eve celebration with Rotel and The Hot Tomatoes. Tickets include live entertainment and dinner that starts at 7:30pm. The live music gets rolling at 9:00pm.
Steiner Ranch Steakhouse – Enjoy a champagne toast at midnight, live music and fireworks (if the weather cooperates!) at Steiner Ranch Steakhouse. They are currently accepting dinner reservations for New Year’s Eve and hoping the weather allows for an outdoor celebration.
Rumi’s Tavern – If you’re looking for something fun to do on the North Shore, head to Rumi’s Tavern in Jonestown where they are hosting a NYE bash with Audic Empire performing at 9:00pm and headliner Good Karma. They will have drink specials, food and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
Grille at Rough Hollow – The Grille at Rough Hollow is hosting an evening of Pre Fixe four-course meals by the fire, so you can stay warm & cozy in Lakeway. The menu features delicious bites like smoked Verlasso Salmon Bruschetta, sweet miso marinated Seabass, steamed Alaskan King Crab and more. Reservations are filling up fast, but the early seating (5:00pm) does have availability.
Fore Restaurant in Lakeway – Fore is having their annual NYE celebration including party favors, a free champagne toast at midnight, bottle service, DJ Hektik spinning tunes and chef’s charcuterie in the bar, 9:00pm – midnight. Make your table and bottle service reservations today!
Poodie’s Roadhouse – Tickets are on sale now for Poodie’s New Year’s Eve party with live music from Tessy Lou & the Shotgun Stars at 8:00pm and WC Clark, “The Godfather of Austin Blues” at 10:00pm. Tickets are $20 in advance/$25 at the door.
