There are lots of national days dedicated to random stuff, but this is a celebration you can really embrace.
National Coffee Day!
That’s right friends, tomorrow is dedicated to those oh-so-tasty beans that are truly the best part of waking up.
*reaching for a ginormous, clunky, coffee mug with funny quote and cat face on it*
In honor of this glorious cup of caffeinated splendor, we’re doing a quick roundup to let you know where can you celebrate with coffee freebies in the Lake Travis area and beyond.
The Donut Hole
To honor the donut’s perfect companion, The Donut Hole is offering a free 20-ounce coffee with a $2 purchase tomorrow. Make room in your diet for a breakfast splurge, because who can say no to a display case full of fresh, yummy donuts?
Cuvee Coffee
If you really want to party it up, Cuvee Coffee is hosting a National Coffee Day Blowout at their coffee shop on 6th Street with BOGO coffee specials all day, food, fun & more. You may know the Spicewood-based coffee roaster for their unique Nitro Cold Brew, a cold brew blasted with nitrogen.
Not Starbucks. Dang it.
The coffee bean giant is celebrating with fancy handwriting on in-store signage, but no freebies. Starbucks is giving away a free coffee tree to a coffee farmer in need for every cup of brewed Mexico Chiapas coffee sold on September 29, so drink up!
Whole Foods at Hill Country Galleria
Allegro Coffee will donate $1 for every drip coffee sold at Whole Foods Market stores to Whole Planet Foundation. Get $1 off a 16-ounce Allegro Pumpkin Spice Latte. To claim your caffeinated discount, you need to download the Whole Foods Market App and scan your barcode at the register.
The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf
All day tomorrow, The Coffee Bean is offering a free 16-ounce cup of coffee (hot or iced) with the purchase of a $2 food item.
7-Eleven
We all have “that friend” who loves a cup of black coffee from 7-Eleven, don’t we?
The convenient store king is offering 7Rewards members a free any-size coffee September 29 – October 1. You can also download the app for the freebies!
McDonald’s
If you download the My McCafe App, you can get a free McCafe Latte or Frappe. Remember, they are hot. 😉
Dunkin’ Donuts
Enjoy a free 16-ounce hot coffee with the purchase of medium or larger coffee all day on Friday.
Cinnabon
Mmm, the scent of Cinnabon wafting through the air. On Friday, you can snag a free 12-ounce cup of coffee with no purchase necessary.
Krispy Kreme
The folks at Krispy Kreme are turning one day of coffee fun into a 3-day event. They’ll be offering customers a free hot brewed coffee (any size) or a small premium iced coffee from September 29 – October 1.
Lyft-ers
If you use Lfyt ride share on Friday, you should get a free can-o-coffee. Lyft has partnered with High Brew Coffee in Austin and will be giving riders a free can of Fair Trade Certified, ready-to-drink, cold brew coffee.
And speaking of coffee …
On October 4 the Lakeway Police Department invites you to join them at Whataburger in Lakeway (2011 RM 620 S.) for Coffee with a Cop. Ask questions, share concerns or just say hello from 7:30am-9:30am.
