We confirmed the rumors back in early August – Lululemon was headed to the Lake Travis area. Well, the wait is over. Lululemon’s new seasonal, pop-up store will open September 28. Hill Country Galleria is celebrating with fitness-focused specials and events all weekend long.
Plus, a uniquely inspired art studio is also opening its doors on Saturday night at Hill Country Galleria. Because studio spaces due “West of Weird” are cool.
Friday: Lululemon Grand Opening Event
You are invited to Lululemon’s Ribbon Cutting & Wine Night celebration on Friday night from 5pm-8pm. Lululemon will provide complimentary coffee, sweets, and DJ entertainment. Plus, complimentary wine while you shop.
Lululemon will also have a custom heat press in-store all weekend long. If you aren’t familiar with a heat press, it’s a machine that can professionally imprint a design or a logo on clothing. For this special celebration, the heat press design is “ATX” in all caps. That means you can make a purchase in-store if you want to press something new or just bring in your fav Lululemon item and jazz it up – your choice.
Saturday: Free Camp Gladiator Class
On Saturday, grab your best Lulu workout gear and join Camp Gladiator for a free class on the Central Plaza Lawn on Saturday at 9am. Enjoy complimentary juice & light bites after class.
In addition to Camp Gladiator workouts, Hill Country Galleria has many other fitness-focused tenants like RIDE Indoor Cycling, Barre3, PAIYH Dance Studio, The Lagree Studio and their newest addition, GOGA. A traditional Vinyasa yoga class with baby Nigerian Pygmy Dwarf goats? Sure, why not!
Sunday: Yoga with Alive + Well
On Sunday, it’s time to work on your flexibility with Alive + Well at a complimentary yoga class in the outdoor Cinemark Plaza at 10am, followed by a live DJ. Just bring a mat and get ready to get your blood flowin’.
If you haven’t been there yet, Alive + Well is like a healing campus of relaxation and healthy alternatives for the mind and body. They first dazzled Lake Travis residents with their beautiful new facility on 3944 S. Ranch Road that opened in the spring of 2018. Within the walls of Alive + Well are four businesses: Alive + Well, Elle’s Cafe & Coffee, Hill Country Apothecary, and Drip Drop IV Vitamin Bar.
What’s else is shaking at HCG?
Well, we’re glad you asked. Contra/Common, a nonprofit dedicated to providing affordable studios to emerging artists, is also opening their doors at HCG with a grand opening event on Saturday night from 7pm-10pm.
Want to get cozy and inspired by the “Due West of Weird” mantra?
This is your chance to visit their newly renovated gallery featuring amenities for artists, communal workspaces and workshops. Plus, you can meet the creative team behind this inspired project.
We think this is a perfect initiative for the Lake Travis area, because inclusively fostering a sense of community to “go against the common” is well, brilliant.
