When the warmer weather arrives …
Easter is right around the corner, so that means it’s time for the biggest Easter egg hunt in Lake Travis. Kiddos will be dashing to grab eggs at the annual Eggstravaganza! hosted by Lakeway Parks and Recreation Department.
This free event will be from 2pm-4pm on Saturday, March 24 at Lakeway City Park. In addition to the egg hunts, there will be a petting zoo, a cookie decorating craft station, mural coloring, spin art, a visit from the Easter Bunny, snowcones and glitter tattoo artists.
Egg hunts are age-specific, so check the website for start times. B.Y.O.B. (bring your own basket)

Get out of town
If you want to see Easter egg magic, head out to Kyle, Texas, for an amazing, one-of-a-kind Easter Egg Drop Eggstravaganza.
On Saturday morning, Gregg-Clarke Park we’ll be hosting the largest Easter egg hunt that Hays County has ever seen. 80,000 eggs will be dropped from a helicopter in a designated zone for the kids according to age. Even a special one for toddlers!
The helicopter will be showing up to drop the eggs starting at 11:30am, so be sure to arrive early. In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt, there will be inflatables, face painting, a photo booth, a live DJ, and the Easter bunny will make a visit.
