When you step on a zebra mussel …
This guy isn’t helping the situation. The owner of a barge rental company, with many barges covered in zebra mussels located at the Sandy Creek boat ramp, admitted to not thoroughly cleaning the barges before transporting them from all the different bodies of water. The owner received multiple commercial citations for transporting zebra mussels and a stern talking-to from a Travis County game warden.
