If you have children and you visit the Hill Country Galleria, do you ever leave without hearing the chanting, pleading and begging, “Mommy, we wanna go to the toy store! Toy store! Toy store!”?
That’s because HCG is home to Learning Express Toys of Bee Cave, the ultimate “neighborhood toy store” with so many fun games, nifty gadgets, educational gizmos and adorable plush toys it’s practically impossible to leave without buying something.
I stopped by to visit with the owner, Lisa Schlageter, and I just couldn’t leave without buying a big, scented, micro-bead pillow that looks and smells like a cookie. Really?! Come on, it’s awesome. This is just one of the many unique toys you can find at Learning Express. From the most popular Frozen and Minecraft toys to huge plush pets, plasma cars, puzzles, books, crafts and collectables, you can find something special for any child.
Learning Express not only delights kiddos with non-stop fun, but also makes parents happy because they are dedicated to providing a hassle free shopping experience. They offer free gift wrapping, a valuable VIP program, free birthday box registry, complimentary personalization and more. The staff is knowledge and helpful, so whether you need a gift for a 2-year-old princess who loves bling or a 7-year-old football player who’s into magic tricks, they’ll make sure you find the perfect present.
Living Local in the Lake Travis Area
If you live in the Lake Travis area, you probably already know how much Learning Express actively supports the LT community and Austin non-profits by participating and hosting lots of events.
They just participated in the CC4C Micro Marathon 4 Inspiration to help raise money for children suffering with rare and undiagnosed conditions and today (September 30), they are participating in A Night Out for Alex where local businesses and restaurants are collaborating in hopes of bringing awareness to Alex’s current medical condition after he was struck by lightning at the Field of Dreams. Learning Express will be offering 20% off merchandise all day (Sept 30) and collecting donations in the store.
Also, don’t forget to stop by Learning Express during the Hill Country Galleria Halloween Trick or Treat event on October 25 and wish them a happy seventh anniversary!
