If you’re shopping at the Hill Country Galleria or grabbing at bite at The League you might see a familiar face from ESPN, and it very well may be OU’s super star running back Samaje Perine. Perine leads the Big 12 with 131.6 yards rushing per game and 21 touchdowns. This freshman who now lives in Lakeway is one of only three unanimous selections to the AP’s All-Big 12 first-team offense. And if you watched the OU/Kansas game in November, you may remember Perine rushed for 427 yards (on 34 rushes) along with five touchdowns, breaking the NCAA FBS single game rushing record set by Melvin Gordon just a week earlier.
