Lake Travis harbors its fair share of marinas. If you own a boat and are looking for a place to launch, it can be a tricky thing narrowing down the list of Lake Travis marinas.

Emerald Point Marina is located along a deep channel of Lake Travis, making it accessible in low water and a prime spot for all your boating adventures.

Boat rentals, storage and launching all happen at this watery fort, which boasts 308 covered and uncovered boat slips and can store vessels up to 100 feet in length. The year-round storage facility is also climate controlled.

With multiple seating areas around the lot, it’s also a perfect place for checking out those famous Lake Travis sunsets.

Watercraft Rental at the Marina

If you want to enjoy the lake but find yourself without a boat, have no fear. The folks at Just for Fun Watercraft Rental are here to help. Whether you’re interested in cruising on a waverunner or renting out a party barge for the whole office, Just for Fun is located right at Emerald Point and can assist you in picking out the right boat for your needs.

Prices are reasonable and you can rent by the hour, letting you stay on the water as little or as long as you like. And you can even reserve them online.

Golf on the Lake

If you want a break from the waves and would like to stay on land for a while, there is Day Break Golf Park.

The miniature golf park, sitting on an acre and just up the hill from Emerald Point Marina, is a fun time for the whole family. The 18-hole course is picturesque atop the shores of Lake Travis, and even provides night time golfing when in season.

It’s a perfect place to take a break with the kids, or just to visit when you want to practice your putt. The course is shaded by several live oak trees, proving you can go through the 18 holes without having to break too much of a sweat. And when that happens, there’s always plenty of water around for cooling off.

So whether you’re simply looking for a place to launch your boat, or wanting to rent a whole barge and party with the whole family, Emerald Point Marina has a little something for everyone.
