Happy weekend, Lake Travis!
There will be a lot of people jumping into Lake Travis for a swim this Saturday at the 2016 Lake Travis Relay. This event is listed as one of the top 50 open water events in the United States and one of the top 100 open water events in the world!
If you’re looking for a festival this weekend, you have a big city or get out of town option. Check out ACL Music Festival Weekend Two at Zilker Park or the 30th Annual Gruene Music & Wine Festival at the Gruene Historic District in New Braunfels.

14th annual ACTS Pumpkin Patch opens on Saturday, October 8th, at 10am and will be open daily through October 31st. Patch hours are Monday through Friday from noon – 6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm
Harvest of Fall Fun at Sweet Berry Farms in Marble Falls, Texas. September 24 through November 6th (closed Wednesdays).
Fall Festival & Corn Maze at Barton Hill Farms open weekends from September 24 through November 13, 2016.
Weekday happenings
Monday Oct. 10th – Columbus Day Mini Camp at ChampionsTX with gymnastics, tumbling, trampoline, arts and crafts, science, cooking, games, and more fun. Ages 3-10 + Leaders in Training 6th-12th Grade earn volunteer hours.
Lakeway’s Big Band Bash will celebrate its five-year anniversary at 8pm Oct. 10 at the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek.
Shari Anderson’s award-winning photography is now on display through Nov. 10 at Lakeway City Hall Art Gallery, 1102 Lohmans Crossing.
