Happy Friday, Lake Travis!
You no longer have to dream about wearing jeans and sweaters, because fall weather has arrived in the Texas Hill Country. The cooler weather fantasy is a reality.
Just because it’s cooling off, doesn’t mean Lake Travis is slowing down. There are lots of events in and around the area this weekend. Plus, mark your calendars for LaketoberFest next weekend and help us support our lakes.
Next Saturday, November 4, we’ll be celebrating the lakes and the water we love in support of Central Texas Water Coalition. It will be a fun evening with live music by Off The Grid Band, traditional German food including sausage, sauerkraut, schnitzel, German beers and local wines. Wearing lederhosen by yourself is no fun, so grab your neighbors and join us.
If you’re looking for Halloween celebrations this weekend, check out the event roundup for info about parties at Angel’s Icehouse, Rumi’s Tavern in Jonestown, and LT Corner Pub. You can even dress up your pups for the Halloween Dog Walk on Saturday.
Don’t forget to grab a jacket for your weekend morning activities, because it’s gonna be hovering between 40-50 degrees. Yes, we’re serious.
Enjoy your weekend!
