Happy weekend, fellow Lake Travisites!
If Hurricane Patricia makes her way closer to the Lake Travis area we could have a very wet weekend. Great for the lake levels … but not so great for doing outdoor activities this weekend. We’ll take a full Lake Travis over outdoor activities any day!
The weekend roundup pic this Friday is high above the Lake Travis area from the open-cockpit on Austin Biplane. You may have seen or heard the red biplane flying overhead this past Tuesday afternoon. I highly recommend going out for a flight with Rob and will have to add this to the Lake Travis Bucket List.
Check out the Trunk or Treat Events in Lake Travis this weekend. Grab a pumpkin at one of the local pumpkin patches and start scooping out those seeds — carving pumpkins is a great rainy day activity!
If you’re heading out to the track this weekend for the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix and a concert by Sir Elton John & His Band, don’t let the rain stop you! Good news: rain is delicious chaos, and we may finally see wet F1 racing on Circuit of the Americas.
