Lake Travis Lifestyle Weekend Roundup: October 20-22, 2017

Written by Todd Hower | October 20, 2017

Happy Friday, friends!

It’s been a beautiful week in the Lake Travis area with crisp mornings and sunny afternoons. There’s a slight chance of rain in the forecast for the weekend, but that shouldn’t put a damper on your weekend plans.

There are lots of fun events happening in and around the Hill Country, but before we jump ahead, let’s take a quick look back at the week.

Someone scared the bejeezus out of us on Facebook by posting a gif that read, “Just 10 Fridays Until Christmas.” We haven’t even made it through Halloween yet. Noooo!

Speaking of All Hallows’ Eve, did you know there’s a new Spirit Halloween store at Hill Country Galleria?

A Springfree Trampoline pop-up shop is opening at HCG next week. Plus, HCG is celebrating its 10th anniversary on Saturday with a special sidewalk sale leading up to the Saturday Night Concert at 7pm.

Another milestone is happening in the Lakeway area — the 30th anniversary of the famous golf ball water tower. Did you know it was hand-painted by a crew of brave men suspended by ropes? You can read all about it on our Facebook page.

Enjoy your weekend, friends!
