Happy weekend, fellow Lake Travisites!
It’s going to be another fabulous weekend in the Lake Travis area. And there is so much going on that it’s going to be hard to choose what to do — and even harder to fit it all in.
Kick off your weekend with a visit to the Lake Travis In the Water Boat Show at Emerald Point Marina — and don’t miss out on our October Giveaway with Austin Boats and Motors. Have a Monster Themed Kids Night Out at Color Me Mine or catch the opening weekend of Steel Magnolias at TexARTS – Kam and James Morris Theatre.
Saturday is a big day with the 6th Annual Public Safety Day at Lake Travis Elementary, Oktoberfest at Rough Hollow, Pumpkin-Palooza at Lakeway Elementary and a great line-up of local live music to take you into the night.
You have the 20th Anniversary Texas Book Festival at the Texas State Capitol and the 3rd Annual Dia de los Muertos Festival at Fiesta Gardens for your big city events this weekend.
If you’re into getting freaked out, then you can do that at our Get Out of Town Event, the 7th Annual Nightmare on Jail Hill Haunted House at Historic County Jail in Georgetown.
Wind yourself down on Sunday night at the 6th Annual Be Brave Benefit with the Oak Ridge Boys at the Oasis on Lake Travis.
As always, thank you for supporting our local businesses, events and live music scene — Live Local in Lake Travis!
