Happy Friday, Lake Travis! We hope you enjoyed your spooktastic week. And speaking of Halloween …
Do you have too much candy right now?
Stop by Learning Express at Hill Country Galleria thru November 7th and trade in your candy for a cause. For every 25 pieces of candy you donate, you get $1 cash to use towards a toy purchase at Learning Express. Donated candy will go to Mobile Loaves & Fishes, so with every nutritious meal they serve, they can also include a little sweet treat. (125 piece maximum limit)
It’s LaketoberFest, a celebration of our lakes and support of the Central Texas Water Coalition. It will be a fun evening with live music by Off The Grid Band, traditional German food including sausage, sauerkraut, schnitzel, German beers and local wines. Wearing lederhosen by yourself is no fun, so grab your neighbors and join us.
In case you missed us …
On Thursday, Cathy shared the history and a list of five must-see dance halls that are a hop, skip and jump away from Lake Travis.
In other local news …
