Lake Travis Lifestyle Weekend Roundup: March 31-April 2, 2017

Written by Todd Hower | March 31, 2017

This view never gets old. Our beautiful Lake Travis on a perfectly sunny day reminds us how special our slice of the Texas Hill Country is. There’s no place like home, right?

Before you take a look at the upcoming weekend, let’s take a look back at what went on this past week …

On Wednesday, Mandy took us on a stroll through Russell Collection Fine Art Gallery in Oaks at Lakeway. She chatted with gallery owner Lisa Russell about inspiration from art and her dreams of opening a second gallery in Lake Travis.

On Thursday, Cathy introduced us to a special resident, Natalie Buchanan, CPNP. Her journey into pediatric medicine is a love story in so many ways — you just have to read it! Discover how she’s helping Lake Travis kiddos thrive at Beansprout Pediatrics.

There’s a lot of excitement brewing in the Lake Travis area this weekend and that’s not an April Fool’s joke!

On April 1 catch inspiring and thought-provoking talks at TEDxLakeTravisHigh presented in partnership with Lexus of Lakeway. Don’t forget to swing by Sweet Bakery and help LT’s fave bakery celebrate its 3rd birthday.

If it’s not pouring down rain on Sunday, check out the 2nd annual Bee Cave Chamber of Commerce Mighty Kite Flight. This free event will take place on Sunday, April 2nd from noon-3pm in Bee Cave Central Park. UPDATE — The Bee Cave Kite Flight has been rescheduled to next weekend.
