Lake Travis Lifestyle Weekend Roundup: March 3-5, 2017

Written by Todd Hower | March 3, 2017

We know spring fever has hit the Texas Hill Country because our Weekend Roundup is exploding with events in and around the Lake Travis area. Ah, lake life is the best life!

Before you take a look at the weekend ahead, let’s take a look back at what went on this past week …

With so much to do in our daily lives, sometimes our active plugged-in lifestyle gets the best of us. That’s why we focused on two local businesses that can help to undo your day-to-day stressors.

On Wednesday, we introduced you to Lakeway’s premier yoga studio, Balance Yoga. They’re currently offering new guided meditation classes that will teach your brain (and body) how to enjoy a 20-minute mental break.

LTL’s newest writer, Kim Wade, caught up with the local husband and wife duo who owns L-Aesthetics & Longevity MedSpa. From healing IV therapy to cutting-edge Halo laser treatments, LA MedSpa will help you glow from the inside out. Plus, they’re extending special introductory offers for LTL readers.

In other community related news …

Our friends at Hill Country Galleria are ramping up for an exciting event season that showcases the new —wait for it! — Central Plaza. The Saturday Night Concert Series starts up again on March 25th featuring live music for the whole family from 7-9pm.

And speaking of music, Lake Travis Community Library is hosting The Musicians Woodshed LIVE on Friday at 4:30pm. Plus, you can catch more of The Musicians Woodshed this weekend at Rodeo Austin on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Or, head out to Spicewood Vineyards to catch rock-n-roll legend Bill Kirchen.

With so much to do and see, we need longer weekends. Have fun, Lake Travis friends!
