Holy sweet berries! It’s strawberry season at Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls and they are B-I-G. You’ll pick your own fun for sure — it’s impossible to leave with only one crate. Not to mention kiddos can paint pottery, jump on the Berry Bounce, feed the goats (they’re super cute!), ride the train and more.
As always, the warm spring weather brings so many fun outdoor events to the Lake Travis area. SXSW may be gone, but it’s still hoppin’ way out west. Live music is just getting started on the lake.

On Wednesday, we shared impressive restaurant inspection stats to make every fast food foodie feel good. According to the reports, Lake Travis is home to plenty of perfectionists — fast food joints that consistently score 100. Perhaps your guilty pleasure contains less guilt.
On Thursday, Cathy re-introduced us to Canyon Grille Rough Hollow. Stop by for the delicious food, stay for the amazing view! This Sunday they’re hosting the 8th annual Crawfish Boil with live music, pool access and more.

We’re getting closer! Our friends at the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce are getting ready to throw the BIGGEST time in the smallest town. The 10th annual SpringFest will take place on Saturday, April 29 at Hill Country Galleria, so mark your calendars.
Got any Disney princess fans in your house? If so, you don’t want to miss the Lake Travis High School Choir Princess Tea this Saturday at 2pm. Guests will enjoy a brief show in the annex recital hall and then will be served a fabulous tea party buffet in the atrium with an opportunity to meet all the princesses and take photos. The ProRodeo finals are this weekend at Rodeo Austin with a concert by Kevin Fowler. Saturday is the last day to catch all of the fun at the Travis County Expo Center–carnival rides, beer garden, pig races, fantastic food and plenty of live music. Ticket info here.
Get out of town
Country music artist Hal Ketchum is returning to the stage after a 6-year absence battling acute transverse myelitis. The music spirit is bringing this Grand Ole Opry inductee (1994) back to his fans at Gruene Hall on Friday, March 24, at 9:30pm with Jonathan Terrell opening at 8pm. Doors open at 7pm.
