There’s lots of fun activities in and around Lake Travis this weekend, but before we jump ahead, let’s take a quick look back.
On Wednesday, Kim gave us the inside scoop on two popular restaurants in the Hudson Bend area, Saigon Cafe and Seafood Shack. As Kim said, these authentic seafood eateries are bringing back the “Bend” baby!
On Thursday, we shared the Lakeway summer movie schedule that begins on Friday, June 9 at the Lakeway Swim Center. Keep cool in the pool while watching Disney’s Moana.

Hill Country Galleria has announced details for their annual July 4th celebration in Central Plaza. Bring chairs and blankets and enjoy live music starting at 6:30pm with The Watters and then Vallejo takes the stage at 7:45pm. After the sun sets, fireworks start around 9pm.

Get out of town
Enjoy the great outdoors this weekend at Inks Lake State Park located nine miles west of Burnet. On Friday night you can go fishing with a ranger, a free catch and release program, or you can summit the yellow trail under the light of the moon. On Saturday it’s time for underwater discovery with a seining net and then a walk under the stars Saturday night. Check out all of the awesome events happening at Inks Lake this weekend.
