Brown Bag Lunch Concert Series every Thursday in January and February at the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek. February 2nd — The Lake Travis Fiddlers, founded in 2000 by Lake Travis ISD orchestra director Anna Macias, continue to gain national recognition. They perform in a wide variety of Texas venues and were a great hit with Brown Bag crowds last year. These fiddlers and singers present a rousing show of country and folk music.
Lakeway City Hall Art Gallery welcomes the works of Jane Fatino in its latest exhibit that runs now through Feb. 14. The display may be viewed during regular office hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at Lakeway City Hall, 1102 Lohmans Crossing.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lakeway will host a Community Open House event to celebrate a new name and vision, as well as a new year of serving Lake Travis, Bee Caves and the greater Central Texas community. The free public event will feature a number of engaging activities for all ages, including:

The Spicewood Arts Society announces its second art trek of the season, “Art and Culture: Texas Style!” on Feb. 9, highlighing Texas’ diverse culture. The trip includes the historic Ursuline Academy, the Southwest School of Art, and the San Antonio Museum of Art.
Sing and dance to the music of Suede, Austin’s premier cover band, at the Spicewood Arts Society’s annual “Rockin’ the Vineyard” fundraiser at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at Spicewood Vineyards. Rockin’ the Vineyard benefits arts programs in local schools and scholarships awarded to area high school seniors pursuing an arts career. Last year the Spicewood Arts Society awarded five $1500 scholarships.
