Lake Travis Lifestyle Weekend Roundup: February 24-26, 2017

Written by Todd Hower | February 24, 2017

It’s going to be a gorgeous weekend, Lake Travis friends! The lakes are 99% full and the boat ramps are open. Your local marinas are ready to help you make the most of life on the lake.

Before you take a look at the weekend ahead, let’s take a look back at what went on this past week …

On Wednesday, we raised a salted-rim glass to celebrate #NationalMargaritaDay in Lake Travis. If you missed the chance to sip your favorite tequila-based cocktail this week, it’s a beautiful weekend to make up for it.

Yesterday, Cathy took us on a virtual juicing adventure to figure out which smoothie shops and juice bars are fueling the Lake Travis community.

In other community related news …

Lakeway City Council unanimously voted to call a bond election on May 6, 2017 for $23,065,000 to fund the construction of a new 31,000 square foot police facility to better serve and protect the Lakeway community for the next 25 years.

Find out why there’s a Mighty Cone sign covering up Hudson’s on the Bend and how much someone paid to buy the Oaks at Lakeway.

If you’re looking for something special to do this weekend, there are only a few performances left of The Marvelous Wonderettes at TexARTS this weekend at the Kam & James Morris Theatre in Lakeway.

Happy weekend, Lake Travis friends!
