Lake Travis Lifestyle Weekend Roundup: December 4th – December 6th

Written by Todd Hower | December 4, 2015

LTL Weekend December 4 2015

Happy weekend Lake Travis! It’s the first weekend of December and a weekend when a lot of holiday lights get turned on!

This Friday in the Lake Travis area you’ll have your choice of Lights On! and the Trail of Lights in Lakeway or seeing 65,000 lights illuminate the largest live oak tree in Cedar Park.

The big city will light up this weekend at the Trail of Lights Zilker Park with the 2nd Annual Preview Party on Friday, an exclusive limited attendance event. Or lace up your running shoes and find your holiday socks for the Trail of Lights Fun Run on Saturday.

The sun will be out on Saturday with temps in the 60s but that doesn’t mean you won’t see snow in the Lake Travis area. This is the first of three snow days at the Hill Country Galleria.

Spend some time near the water and check out the Holiday Lighted Boat Parade on Lake Travis on Saturday night. The boat parade will start at Rough Hollow at 5:30pm, pass in front of Lakeway Resort & Spa, Lakeway Marina, Crosswater Marina, and will end at Sundancer Grill with an Ugly Sweater Party and Reverse Happy Hour.

Check out all of the holiday events happening this weekend and thank you for supporting our local businesses, events and live music scene — Live Local in Lake Travis!
