Lake Travis is holding steady at 681 and the sun will be shining bright this weekend. But our beautiful blue lake may get ignored just a tad, because there is so much to do in LT sans water. It’s an event-packed weekend, friends. Who’s ready?
Before we exhaust you with all of your awesome event options, let’s take a look back at what went on this past week …
On Wednesday, Kim re-introduced us to Infamous Brewing, one of our favorite local breweries. Infamous recently celebrated their 4-year anniversary and Kim was along for the ride. Congrats, Infamous!
On Thursday, Cathy took us on a little journey back in time to revisit LT happenings in 2013. What was hot — what was not. LT was pre-H-E-B and on the brink of the big boom. What do you remember?
It’s pretty much going to be a perfect weekend in the Lake Travis area — and not looking like you’ll see a tornado on Lake Travis. There are so many fun events happening, you’ll have plenty to do.
On Saturday the Hill Country Galleria is officially unveiling its new $16m renovation with a huge party and fashion show on the new lawn from 2pm-9pm. Bob Schneider is playing at 3pm and fireworks will light up the sky at sundown.
Also on Saturday, Lakeway City Park will host its annual Eggstravaganza from 2pm-4pm. Get ready to grab some eggs, folks! The egg hunts are age-specific, so check out the website to find out when your little one needs to be ready. The Easter Bunny is making an appearance and there will be plenty of fun activities. Sorry, but no doggies allowed at this one.
Have a great weekend, Lake Travis friends!
