Temperatures are cooling down a bit this weekend, but hey — we’re not complaining. It’ll be triple digits soon enough. There’s plenty to do in and around the Lake Travis area, so a few clouds shouldn’t interfere with your plans.

30th Annual Founders Day will be held in downtown Dripping Springs this weekend. The three-day celebration kicks off with the Grand Parade and includes: free music and entertainment on two stages, the Mighty Thomas Carnival, food, beer, street dances, cook-off competitions, over 150 arts and crafts booths and business vendors.

The 10th annual SpringFest will take place at Hill Country Galleria from 11am – 7pm with shopping, food, live music, a KidZone, a Craft BrewHaus, a WineStomp and much more.
