Labor Day — the holiday for workers is Monday, September 7 — hello three-day weekend! After the second week of school, you couldn’t get here soon enough.
It might be the unofficial end of summer, but it’s the start of college football season … and cooler temps (eventually).
Enjoy your weekend relaxing around the lake, head out to the Hill Country for Moonshine, BBQ, Blues, Washers and More Festival at Crystal Creek Moonshine in Spicewood. Make a short drive to downtown Austin for LEGO Kidsfest or out to the track at Circuit of the Americas for Cirque du Soleil: Kooza.
If you feel like doing something on Labor Day, you can be part of The Biggest Barton Springs Pool Jump Ever or catch The Last Round Rock Express Baseball Game of 2015 with $1 hot dogs and sodas at Dell Diamond.
Enjoy your three-day weekend Lake Travis style. We’re going to do the same and look forward to seeing you out and about. We’ll be back on Tuesday with more of the best of what’s happening in LT.
