Lake Travis Area Weekend Roundup: April 24th – April 26th

Written by Todd Hower | April 24, 2015

LTL Weekend April 24

Well, hello there weekend, it’s so nice to see you again! It seems the weather is kicking this Lake Travis weekend off with some heavy thunderstorms … and that’s not something we are going to complain about around here — we just hope it doesn’t bring another rogue hail storm through the area. That was crazy!

There’s a lot going on this weekend, so let’s get started …

The water is warming up and we have a couple of events taking place on the lakes. Check out the Lake Travis in the Water Boat Show at Crosswater Yacht Club or the Ladies First ATX Wakesurf Open at Ski Shores on Lake Austin.

Big city festivals are underway and there are plenty to choose from this weekend. The party starts on Friday with the Austin Food + Wine Festival and continues on Saturday with Eeyore’s 52nd Annual Birthday Party and the 65th Annual Art City Austin.
