Lake Travis Area Weekend Events: September 12 – 14

Once again the weekend sneaked up on us, but we came prepared with a whole bunch a places for you to go, things to do and people to see!

This weekends featured event is the Lake Travis Underwater and Shoreline Cleanup. Start your Sunday by joining hundreds of other volunteers along the shores of Lake Travis for the biggest scuba diving and shoreline cleanup in Texas.! Volunteer opportunities are filling up quickly so be sure and sign up today.

20th Lake Travis Underwater & Shoreline Cleanup Join Keep Austin Beautiful, Travis County, and Colorado River Alliance for the biggest scuba diving and shoreline cleanup in Texas. Cleanup of the shoreline and bottom of Lake Travis is followed by a volunteer party featuring free lunch, music, and children’s activities. Underwater and Shoreline Cleanup (9:00am – 11:00am) Volunteer thank you party at the Oasis (11:00am – 1:30pm)

Celebrate 60 Years at Ski Shores Cafe with a live ski show, live music and weekend specials (9:00am-10:00pm)

Lone Star Farmers Market in the Shops at the Galleria (10:00am – 2:00pm)

Cars and Coffee at the Oasis The biggest free car show on Lake Travis (10:00 – 12:00pm)

In the Big City

Kids Garden Party at Springdale Farms Kids and parents alike will discover the magic of farming at this exclusive Springdale Farm and Whole Foods Market event. Kids will get a chance to get their hands dirty learning about how food is grown, picked and prepared, from farm to fork. With farm tours, food, and live music from La Tampiquena (6:00pm – 8:00pm)
