Gracious Bridal: Personalized Party Favors From the Heart of Lakeway

Written by Mandy Spivey | December 1, 2014

Audrey from Gracious Bridal

There are a million decisions that go into making a dream wedding come true. And when an important party is on the horizon, like a 50th anniversary or graduation party, a personalized touch always goes a long way in making the day more memorable.

Tiny flags to sit atop cupcakes with your initials playfully stamped across them? Check. Napkins with your favorite love quote or romantic lyric printed in your wedding’s color scheme? Must have them. Cheeky gifts to hand out at the reception, like tissue packets or lovely matchbooks? Of course!

It’s easy to get caught up in a frenzy trying to take in all of the options for the items that make a good party great, and one search online will lead you down a rabbits hole of internet sites keen on offering you these things. Lots and lots of sites. But there is just something quaint about having a local party design house that is willing to take on the challenge.

Meet Audrey Craig at Gracious Bridal, President and CEO of Lakeway’s most colorful and fun party supplies this side of Lake Travis. Both online and in person you can design the party of your wishes, down to the very last detail. This is including items like personalized koozies, custom hand stamps, cups with your personal design and invitations. Their website, along with her Etsy store, have thousands of products ready to be customized to your liking.

I caught a glimpse of their fun goodies firsthand when I stumbled across their shop in Lakeway, where Audrey and her mother Brenda simultaneously design and run the business together. It’s their method of really tailoring a product to what a customer wants that makes them stand out among the crowd.

“Rather than just saying ‘Choose A, B or C,’ we can sit down and say ‘What are you thinking of,’ and really work with you and decide on something special and unique for your wedding … so that’s what I really think sets us apart.”

The business is family owned and operated by Audrey and her mother, and the two started the company together back in 2006. The shop has gone through several moves throughout the years, taking them from downtown to West Lynn St., before finally settling in the Lake Travis area. As local designers in Lakeway, the storefront provides a beautiful example of some of the best selling products they offer, like customized wrapping paper, personalized plastic cups and many others. They work one-on-one with wedding planners and brides alike to create that memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

“We really do like to work with brides one-on-one and event planners, we really enjoy that. Because I know how you’re planning a wedding and doing so much and then on top of that you have to wonder ‘Where do I get these things?’ It’s nice to have a source that you can rely on that is local where you can find these things.”

It helps that they have experience navigating the complex and never-ending world of wedding and party supplies out there, picking the best designs to offer you online and in person.

As Gracious Bridal overhauls their website for the holiday season, check back for new products around Christmas and the turn of the year.
