Do you need a little enchantment at the start of your holiday season?
Then check out the TexARTS Fire & Ice Masquerade Ball for all the fancy ball gowns, elegant gentlemen in tuxedos, and Broadway quality theatre you have been looking for!
The TexARTS Association for the Visual and Performing Arts has achieved 10 years of serving up culture and high caliber performances in the Lake Travis community and they would love for you to put on your dancing shoes and celebrate with them.
You may have caught a show there such as Steel Magnolias (currently running) or The Ring of Fire: the Johnny Cash Musical Show, which was a big hit this past summer. The theatre always has something wonderful happening to bring culture and wonder into your entertainment experiences, and their upcoming Masquerade Ball is no different.
This unique event will feature entertainment lead by the Matt Wilson Band and include performances by TexARTS stars of the past and present, and the TexARTS Broadway Company. The blacktie affair will also feature a delightful plated dinner, dancing, a silent auction you won’t want to miss, and of course a VIP reception.
A night worthy of royalty indeed!
You can also satisfy your charitable side because proceeds from the event will help fund top quality professional and youth theatre productions, provide scholarships for TexARTS Academy students, and assist TexARTS in expanding to meet the needs of the Lake Travis community.
The ball will take place on Friday, October 30th at the Lakeway Resort and Spa — which means you can still wear your Minion costume on Saturday if you are so inclined. Plus, who wouldn’t want to go to a real-life ball (Cinderella anyone)?
So plan on turning that pumpkin into a carriage and those pesky mice into footmen and be there in your finest!
