The Center at Four Points Construction Update

Written by Cathy Hale | October 2, 2019

Over the years, the Four Points area on the North end of 620 has transformed into a commercial development hot spot.

Remember when Black Walnut Cafe opened its doors in 2013?

What about when Napa Flats opened in 2016? That’s when The Trails at 620 took shape. All sorts of great new dining options appeared in Four Points.

For a long time, Lakewayers were envious that Four Points had the best movie theater ever with reclining seats and food and booze – the Moviehouse & Eatery. Then the Cinemark at HCG got a beautiful makeover, and green-eyed moviegoers were temporarily shushed.

Today, construction is well underway for the newest shopping center in Four Points, The Center at Four Points (aka Parke 27). Let’s take a look at what’s buzzing in this little slice of the Lake Travis area.

Art, Bikes & Adult Beverages: Austin-y Events Headed to Lake Travis Area

Written by Cathy Hale | August 21, 2019

If this cray cray Texas heat has you holed up in your house, blasting the AC 24/7, then maybe it’s time to get out and have some fun supporting local initiatives in Lake Travis. After all, the 10-day forecast only calls for temperatures in the high 90s.

We’ve seen a refreshing rise in local art awareness with the opening of new art galleries and studios. (Don’t forget, the call for mural art entries are being accepted through August 31.) Additionally, the City of Bee Cave continues to make plans for connectivity with more bike and pedestrian trails to decrease traffic congestion.

You could say we’re flexing our right-brain muscles to let our creative side shine brighter.

That said, two free events are coming up at Hill Country Galleria: HEATWAVE presented by ContraCommon on August 30 and Bicycles, Blues & Brews on September 7.
