LURE by Y & F

“The joy of dressing is an art.”

British fashion designer John Galliano made this famous statement about the love of clothes, and making the daily routine of picking one’s outfit more than just a boring chore.

It’s about self-expression, it’s about standing out in a crowd; it’s true — good fashion can improve your life and even raise your self-esteem.

So when you’re in need of the perfect pair of skinny jeans or a dress that can transition from day to night with the perfect necklace and a trendy clutch, look no further than LURE by Y & F in Bee Cave’s Hill Country Galleria.

You may recognize the colorful clothing store by its old moniker, Young & Fabulous. July 4th, 2015 was their grand opening in their new location at the HCG, moving a few doors down the lane.

Hill Country Galleria Wine Walk: Free Wine Tasting Every Month

Written by Todd Hower | April 14, 2016

HCG Wine Walk Mark your calendar and grab a group of friends for a fun night of wine tasting during the Hill Country Galleria Wine Walk. For a date night, girls night out, or just a fun way to expand your wine repertoire, you can’t beat this Thursday night offering.

This evening of wine tasting begins at your first stop, the Twin Liquors located near Dick’s Sporting Good (map).

While there, you’ll be given your first taste of wine … and a map. The map will be your guide (and ticket) as you make your way throughout the Hill Country Galleria to stop at participating businesses and taste wine from all over the world.

It’s the perfect opportunity to test your skills at drinking wine and navigating a shopping center.

Along with the free wine tasting, you will also receive a Hill Country Galleria shopping bag filled with exclusive offers. Choose your route and enjoy this event (and drinks) at your own pace — those little samples of wine can add up quick.

This fun and free event happens on the second Thursday of every month from 5pm-9pm. Feel free to arrive later for this casual night of strolling and sampling. Reservations are not required, but you must be 21 years of age or older.

Are you saying it right?

Written by Marjorie Vesper | January 13, 2016

Pet Stores in Lake Travis

Most of us living the Lake Travis Lifestyle happily admit to pampering our pets. They’re members of the family after all — loyal partners on hikes, boats or even down the drive to grab the mail.

And as good parents, we know all the ins and outs of the area’s top offerings for our animal companions — ranging from the best in veterinary care to boarding and in-home pet sitting.

Of course, no pet’s life would be complete without great nutrition and a few fun toys, and a look at the Lake Travis area’s pet stores shows off some serious chow for your furry (scaly, feathered, slimy) friends.
