Full lakes, hot weather and long summer days means Hudson Bend is once again swarming with lake lovers and summertime celebrations.

Hudson Bend boasts local watering holes like Hudson Tavern, Infamous Brewing Company and Ernie’s on the Lake blended with a few tried-and-true eateries like Los Pinos and Saigon Cafe. With lake levels back up and waterfront businesses buzzing again, it’s safe to say, the ‘Bend’ is back, baby!

When you’re in the mood for fresh, delicious seafood in the Lake Travis area, we have two places for you to check out — Saigon Cafe and Seafood Shack.

Lake Travis Crisis Ministries Embodies “Love One Another” Mission

In a tight knit community like Lake Travis, we’re blessed to have great neighbors. That’s why we’d like to thank a special organization in the area who lives up to their mission, “love one another.”

Each year, Lake Travis Crisis Ministries assists approximately 2,000 families (6,500-7,000 individuals) by distributing over 70,000 pounds of food. And they write about $10,000-$15,000 worth of checks to help cover utility and living expenses for families in need.

Run solely by volunteers and donations, Lake Travis Ministries offers food, financial aid, prayer and counseling, access to social workers, as well as referrals to other resources for families that live within the boundaries of Lake Travis ISD.

Lake Travis’ Infamous Brewing Company Celebrates 4 Years of Brewing the American Dream

With more than 10 of their very own specialty craft beers to choose from, the release of Infamous+Sam Adams Oyster Stout, and a recent brewing agreement with Solid Rock Brewery gives Infamous Brewing Company a myriad of reasons to celebrate.

At Lake Travis Lifestyle, we’re all about supporting local beer. That’s why we’ve followed Infamous Brewing Company during their journey in the Texas Hill Country.

In 2013, we welcomed the new brewery to the Lake Travis area with outreached frosted glasses.

In 2014, we announced the exciting news about their tap room addition and then we showed you what a typical Saturday looks like during tap room hours.

It just makes sense to celebrate their 4-year anniversary. What a milestone!
