According to recent figures from Texas Comptroller’s Office on tax receipts on mixed alcoholic beverages for the month of September, Lakeway and Bee Cave have been seeing a steadier stream of spending on spirits than most of the state. Sweet Berry Farm: Final Weekend to Harvest the Fall Fun

If you haven’t made it to Lake Travis’ favorite farm destination — Sweet Berry Farm — you have a couple of days left. Sweet Berry Farm’s ‘Harvest the Fall Fun’ season closes to the public this weekend until March 2015. There are still cute little pumpkins left, but supply is limited. However; have no fear! There’s plenty of fun things to do aside from pumpkin pickin’.

COTA Fan Fest: Rev Your F1 Engines Oct 31 – Nov 2

Each year as Austin welcomes the excitement of Formula 1 to our city, we get better and better at throwing fun-filled events that embrace the excitement of hosting the most star-studded motorsport event in the world.

Beginning on Halloween, October 31, Circuit of the Americas (COTA) will host a turbo-charged festival downtown called Fan Fest. The schedule of live music at Fan Fest — a free event — is impressive to say the least. Bands include Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, De La Soul, Grupo Fantasma, Dale Watson, Fishbone, Whiskey Shivers and more. Plus, a super line-up of cover bands.
